DA 16 -45 Zoom

Hi to all,

I have been shooting interior pics of homes with lens quite open and getting a curved shadow on some photos near the bottom center. Has to be something simple, but what? The clarity of photos is great.

Thanks,

Your hood perhaps? If the hood is damaged or not installed properly this can happen.

Using the flash on the camera? With the lens hood in place and flash, you will get what you are describing.

I did not use hood, I had it screwed on the lens, but backwards.

That'll work too
All part of it. I remember taking 50 shots one day when I first got my K20D, happy out. Got home and all with the hood shadow as you described originally. Great lens though.
