Well, it's true. Each lens renders differently yet appealingly. The 31 is quite special but even it isn't wide enough on APS-C for expansive landscape photography. Despite this, the 31 makes group portraiture and general photography a breeze with excellent clarity and brilliance.

As weird as it may sound, I'm not that interested in the FA 31. Between my DA 21, DA 35/2.4 and FA 43, the DA35 is the one I use the less because I prefer DA 21 & FA 43's FOV on APS-C.

Also I find the price a bit prohibitive for my wallet (not saying it doesn't worth it, its performance seems stellar).

Of course if a FF camera is released it will be another story...

Hmmmmm that's interesting. So the 35 just isn't needed. The 21 makes up the difference for the wide view the 43 is missing. I'm still thinking about the 43 15 combo ..........

Has anyone acquired a complete Limited collection? If so, describe your journey.

I would like to challenge the opinion that FA43 is not sharp in the corners, in my experience it is quite opposite. I have done some landscape photos with both FA31 and FA43 and both are excellent, but I always found that FA43 is able to render bit more detail in the corners than FA31. Of course this applies to apertures like f8-16.

FA77 (late 2009, MIJ, silver, new), DA40 (March 2012, black, AIV, new), DA21 & DA15 together (early April 2012, AIV, black, new), FA31 (mid-April 2012, black, AIV, new), FA43 (late April, MIJ, black, 2nd hand), DA70 (May 2012, black, AIV, 2nd hand)

I'm missing the 35 macro though, so it's not a complete collection....

I bought a new 15mm and a 35mm. Loved them. Mrs. ElJamoquio and I often fought about which lens to get.
Then I bought a new 40mm. I'd carry it and the 15 and she'd carry the 35.
After a while, I bought a 100mm new. It's not a limited, but it is, in fact it's better because it has the WR. Love it.
I bought another 15mm and 35mm so that Mrs. and I wouldn't have to fight over them. The guy was selling a 70mm, too, and gave me a good price for all three.
Then I bought the 77mm because I found a good deal on one.
I never found a good price on the 31 so I bought it new.

I'm missing the 21 and the 43. I'm never going to get the 21, I don't think, because I'm not buying any more APS-C stuff.

My favorite is still the 15mm. Resolution tests don't mean much.

For me it's not *quite* that simple, but I'm finding harder to find reasons to hold on to the DA40 and DA70, despite their beauty, joy in use and excellent IQ.
I can't see the DA15 and DA21 being redundant for some time.
