Vivitar 135 f2.8 to 32?

I have been searching here and the net and cannot find a Vivitar 135mm f2.8 with a minimum aperture of 32. Anyone have any experience with this lens?

Googled and found within seconds!

Looks nice, almost like a Voigtländer.

I find the ad interesting. You mean people actually sought out quality glass, rather than just assuming 1st party was the best?(I know several Canikonians who can't wrap their head around the fact that Sigma's latest 35mm outperforms both their manufacturers direct competing lenses in some key areas...)

It seems like many third party lenses were held in higher regard, at least the sheer number of them in all pricing sections suggest it.

Are you looking to buy one, or just looking for reviews cause you already did? I have that lens (goes to f/32) in my "to sell" pile if you're interested.

EDIT: Nevermind, mine is actually the f3.5->32. Same style though, and even more compact apparently. (Linked article describes 2.8 version as having 62mm filter threads, mine is only 52mm.)

It may even be a Komine made lens and quite collectible and good or at worst a good version of a Kiron (Kino Precision) lens. That built in hood looks nice too!
It looks like keeping it is the best thing to do if you can find use for it, as it seems to exceed its market place when it comes to performance. Do you got pics taken with it?

I am still in the dark ages: Film! I'm a po boy at the moment. I am looking to get the best inexpensive digital I can find to try this and several other lenses I have. I would like to find a camera in the $200-$400 range, used.

Yes, but the film gets expensive and processing is getting hard to find.

I just noticed where you are from. I want to go.
