How to review lens? (Osawa MC 35-105 f3.5-4.5 Macro)

Decided to take a chance on this lens even tho it had no reviews (figured a $100 is a worthy risk in exchange for possibly saving $600)

Anyway, it has no reviews here & I want to write a good, thorough review
Besides the handling, & optics' quality is easy by photographing the "flashlight test"

What other aspects & how to test them?
How to take very representative sample shots?

P.S: It's on a K-01

You could take a look at the DA* 50-135mm review to get some ideas. That is a pretty comprehensive review of a zoom lens.

Just keep in mind that the K-01 only tests CD AF, so its not quite the same as PD AF that DSLRs have. Its a bit slower but can be more accurate (can't suffer from back/front focusing) on well-lit stationary objects.

I'm glad someone asked. I had no idea!

I'm also glad you asked about reviewing. I have a lens which, while in the database, has no reviews so I feel I should write one. The moral dilemma is whether to write a really good review so I can sell the lens as I no longer use it....

By the way; this is a fully manual lens
