Getting my first Limited tomorrow!

Tomorrow, the UPS driver will deliver my first Limited, the FA 43 in Black from Adorama.

Cannot wait to run some Portra 160 through my MZ-S with the 43mm!

Incidentally, Adorama also carries the silver FA 43. I considered it, but I went with black since all my cameras are black (and probably will continue to be in the future) and they do not carry the FA 31 (probably my next major lens purchase) in silver.

Planning on heading to the arboretum this weekend to shoot the beautiful spring flowers, with a new lens!

The MZ-S with a 43mm ltd sounds like a dream combo to me. Alas, I can afford neither

But I look forward to seeing your shots.

Silver is not a good move! The wife can spot it as a new lens from a mile off. A black job isn't a problem among all the others.

Would LOVE a 43ltd but most likely to get a DA40 with an upcoming K-01 purchase to go with my FA31, welcome to the club!

I like your line of thinking, obviously a man of experience in these matters.

I have two Limiteds...the 40mm and the 70mm. Wonderful lenses. You will enjoy your 43mm Limited.

I have all of the DA LImiteds but never picked up an FA Limited. But, if I did, the 43 would be the place to start. Congratulations and enjoy!

Nice, the 43mm focal length on film is superb! I’ve even used the FA43 for architectural shots and it’s perfect.

Enjoy and post your Portra shots in the "Film SLR" section.

Congratulations on one of the finest lens purchases. The 43 is my favorite Limited, and was also my first Limited lens, purchased long ago with my then-new K10D.

Thanks everyone! I just got the FA 43 in. So far it seems to balance the MZ-S perfectly. I know I'll enjoy this lens!

After a few rainy and colder weekends, I made it to the arboretum today. I'm mailing the film to Dwayne's and hope to have results of the FA 43mm and MZ-S soon! The lens pairs extremely well with the MZ-S. It was completely effortless to use. Truly a dream! I'm sure I'll get some good results in a few days.
