Looks like a huge amount of K-x and K-r bodies and lens kits in "LN" condition (with not-so-great prices), and more 18-55's and 50-200's than you can shake a stick at! There are a few goodies in there (DA70's and 12-24's), so my guess is that Pentax USA decided to clear out it's stock of discontinued, refurbs and demo units, but the "odds and ends" outside of these aren't much different than what KEH has on most days...
Originally posted by ofer4 I have no idea what it means for Pentax, but I'm sure that I'll get plenty of theories here.
My theory: the new management at Pentax USA is continuing their "housecleaning." Really, this is the time that all the organizational formalities have been taken care of and the survivors are getting to their "additional action items." Someone obviously had "clear out the storage room" on their list!
(Having been through a few "large company" mergers and acquisitions, I know this stage quite well. It's also how I once ended up with a box full of high-end video cards that were headed for recycling!)
