43mm Ltd only A$584 (in Australia).

I was amazed to find the 43mm Ltd $584 for new in Australia:

https://www.crkennedy.com.au/pentax/index.php?q=node/325

I ordered it on Saturday, assuming it would be on back order forever, and it arrived in the post today (Tuesday am). Oddly, they delivered the silver version, 2010 date with Hoya paper work. Still, I'm pretty chuffed at the price, and I can't really bring myself to complain about the colour- it'll just make it easier to find on my shelf

Looking through the pages, most prices are below that of any other online Oz retailer (makes sense, since CR Kennedy is the supplier), but the 43mm looks competitive full stop- it's the same price (~exactly) as B&H in US dollars.

very lucky of you I remember buying mine in Rakuten @ maybe about 750 AUD last year, paid the premium for a silver lens, because back then all price I could find is well inflated 945 AUD for a silver one. But no regrets I've captured my favorites from this beauty. So enjoy that sexy silver lens of yours mate.

Yes, I remember the price being pretty steep only recently. I guess the price drop is due to the strong A$- they claimed in my order email it arrived in a crate in Melbourne on Monday (standard re-stock I assume, or fastest shipment ever).

I've already grabbed my first few test pics (as always, cat centric). Very nice. Very hard to tell apart from the 55 DA* when DoF is matched, but obviously smaller and prettier :-D

and I think the PentaxWebstore AU has just been launched properly, or so I think because I couldn't find this thing before. Ah of course you have to remind me of my stolen lovely 55. But I'd love this limiteds to be weather-sealed as well. I was meaning to buy the 77mm and I specifically asked if they can acquire a silver one for me and they replied immediately by putting it on the webstore, seems like they are very active nowadays. Care to show the forum your lovely cat-centric portraits.

Yes sure. Current ones are in dim light (high iso), and he's out gallivanting round my neighbours gardens right now, but I'll grab a couple in the early morning light :-)

Sorry to hear about your stolen lens. We should keep a serial number list for stolen gear on PF!

Great news! Looks like Pentax Australia is matching the B&H price. The 43mm is also listed for $584 on B&H website.

Also the FA 31mm is for AU$949! Even lower than B&H... VERY tempting!

I bought my FA31 from that online store 3 weeks ago and it's still on back order...( I got it at the Easter sale with15% off for $841 + 20 for shipping) I'll be buying a '77 and '43 ASAP and asking for silver as well. I prefer the black '31 though as I had a silver and it looked strange.. lol

Easter sale!? Too bad I wasn't aware of. Last week I bid for an used FA31 (MIJ) on ebay Australian site, and offered $820, but a lucky buyer won it for $831. I would have ordered a new one if I knew the sale. Now I've bought a used FA 35mm f2...

Pentax Snaps on Facebook announced it.. I only looked in on them out of the blue and never expected to buy an FA31 for 1/2 price.. I jumped at it in case they'd made a mistake.. lol

I was in Melbourne enjoying the Easter Holiday, when some people are enjoying this Easter offer. Now, I need to program my mind to check the net even on holidays. Lucky for you bossa! I'm still deliberating on the 31 because I'm pretty happy with my K28 f2. Just ordered my 77 last night. gone for the silver one like my 43.

Good choice! I had a MIJ Silver '77 and it was a jewel.. they are the only ones to buy IMO.

Based on the link I posted, I assumed I was getting the black one- it's the colour in the picture. Checking again though, it didn't actually specify anywhere what colour it would be. So even if I minded about the colour I probably don't have real grounds for complaint, plus I think silver looks cool (even on my black K5 IIs).

It looks great on the K-01 because of the silver dials and top plate where you see the name PENTAX

Coupled with the three amigos being on sale in Canada, it looks like Pentax are trying to blow them out.

Imminent replacements with HD coatings, WR and Quick Shift? I can dream...
