Pentax F 35-70 - keep perfect past-fungus or worse without fungus

I have 2x Pentax F 35-70. I am thinking which copy should I keep.
1) First one is in ok working order. Really sharp when in macro and beautiful colours. Little soft when being on 70mm - even stopped down. Macro is sharp even on F4.5. Little ding on the focus ring and spots from normal using. It is used so the front barrel is moving little bit (slighly more than on my unused 18-55mm). :-P
2) Perfect visual state - almost unused. Going to be really sharp but has a fungus on the first element (I am able to disassemble and clean whole lens + use UV light).

So which one should I keep?

Thanks for answers

I would keep both. If we ever see FF from Pentax they price shoul go up. Right now they cost almost nothing.... That's real shame because it's a wonderful lens.

If you can remove the first element, why not just swap the elements from one lens to the other?
