Hey there!

I currently have the old (yet decent!) Pentax F 80-200, but I've found the FA 80-320 (black version) available at a good price (for Romania, the lenses are more expensive here than in other parts of the world): around 90$.
I usually shoot flowers and bugs, so a longer tele would be a plus, but what do you think about these two lenses in terms of IQ? Are there any remarkable differences between these two lenses when it comes to the quality of the image they produce?
I don't really bother about build quality, looks and feel, the only things I care about when choosing a lens are IQ....and price, of course, since photography is just a hobby.

If you can, go for the FA80-320 it is much better and faster. I have the F80-200 and I think the only advantage is faster autofocus. But the FA80-320 is much better at wider apertures and that really counts. I get good results at f/11 and decent at f/8 with my F80-200. If you can grab it, go for it. You will see the better results i am sure.

On a personal note, I decided to keep my F80-200 becouse of its weight (only300grs!) and it cost me only 20USD so I can be a little careless with it. and I rarely shoot above 135mm (200mm eq)
