Just bought a Sigma 24mm 1.8

Hey guys, whats up?
I just bought a second hand Sigma 24mm 1.8 for 300 bucks, and it's going to arrive next week...might not be the best price, but considering that i'm from Brazil, and Pentax items are tough to find in here, i wasn't that upset with the price...
Do you have anything to say about that lens?
Would like to hear some opinion...
Thank you!

that's actually a great price considering the relative rarity of the lens. As for it's performance, it's not the sharpest lens ever, but the combination of it's fast aperture, decently fast auto-focus and wide 35mm-equivalent focal length make it an awesome lens to use. think of it as a much faster, slightly softer 21 Limited

Hmm, that's good, i guess...i'm kind of a sharpness freak, but i've been getting used to it...
The "long" focal length of my F 50mm 1.7 was limiting me a little bit...that's basically the main purpose of this 24mm

Thank you all!

and in reference to what I said, here are the results from the 21 Limited. Remember, the 21 is a whole 2 stops slower than the sigma

And looking at charts isn't everything. To date, the 21 Limited has to be the single best street photography lens I have ever used due to a combination of factors including focal length, handling, AF speed, etc.

Either way, congrats on your purchase and happy shooting
