Two questions:

1) What is your favorite lens? (This refers to your favorite out of all the pentax-compatible lenses you already own)
2) What is your dream lens? (This refers to the lens you want the most out of all the lenses that you do not own yet... of course the lens has to be one that actually exists and can be used with a pentax body. hehe.)

I was a bit surprised not to see a topic like this on this forum yet. I might have not searched it right (although i already searched "dream" and "favorite" but nothing came up). In any case, here's the topic. I hope a lot of you reply

Kind of an unfair question.

1) favourite all time
Presently split between 2 sigmas, 10-20 and 70-200f2.8, but that is because I just got a tamron 28-75 F2.8 and have not had a real chance to use it
2) dream lens
Pentax A 400mm F2.8, but will settle for 300 F2.8 (dream vs reality)

1. the old 50mm F1.7 F, I keep throwing it in a corner to pick it back up a few weeks later.

2. Dream, for an AF version of the Voigtlander 125mm Macro :XD, or for sigma to make the 120-300 F2.8 for Pentax

I'd really like to have a 10-500mm f/1.4, it is good to dream.

Of course a DA* 200mm Macro, while we are dreaming, would be nice....

My current favorite (if I had to pick one)-- my 43/1.9 Ltd.
My dream lens--31/1.8 Ltd.

If $1500 or so would fall out of the sky, I'd get both the 31 and 77 and complete the FA Ltd set.

1. I have to say the FA* 24. I don't know why but this lens has something special about it. Previously, I have to say the FA* 85.
2. It has to be the damn FA* 200 macro. If they ever bring out a DA* 200 macro (FF compatible of course), I would not hesitate to grab one.

1) Pentax FA35/2.0, To be fair, I like my Vivitar S1 105mm f/2.5 at least as much, but the FA35 is more useful to me.

2) Sigma 24mm f/1.8 EX

1.. well I only have two at the moment... and I mainly only use my pentax 80 -200.. That may change after I get a macro lens...

2. If wishes were money I would be rich ... and own a BIGMA baby!!!
