Dropped DA* 50-135 - Questions

Hello! I managed to, while not paying attention, knock my K-30 w/ 50-135 off the table onto the hardwood floor. The glass of the lens is fine, but the focus is stuck at 2 meters. And a bit of plastic from the hood mount has broken off.
I bought this lens during the open box sale in Denver a few weeks ago, so I'm not sure if I get any sort of warranty coverage or not. . . (It probably wouldn't cover this though, would it?)

I assume I'd send it to C.R.I.S. for repair? Any idea how much I should expect for repairs to cost?

I had similar (bad) experience except that I did not zip the shoulder bag before I put it on my shoulder; and the lens flew across the hard floor. The damage is on the front frame plus the gear plate assembly (focus motor), parts and labour around 300 plus tax (around 350 Cdn total). I guess since the SDM motor is newer so the focus seems more responsive and quicker after the repair.

Thanks for the link. It would appear that I'll have to send it in to get a quote.
