Hmm, dunno what to do with it now
The Zeiss is giving me this:

Think the A50 f/1.2 might have a battle on its hands to recapture my heart.

I keep mine apart,
the A50/1.2 on a K-01,
and the ZK 25/2.8 on a DSLR.

The focus-peaking on the K-01 makes f/1.2 easy to use.
And coupled with the smooth shutter release,
you have the perfect low-light combination.

Just found this thread now Robbie, thanks to your rather poetic title.

Pentax doesn't really have any other lenses the equal of the FA Limiteds and even those are compromised for auto-focus. I know you don't fancy super-wide or long. Which leaves you pretty well done. You can stop buying lenses now, right? ;-)

Yep, near enough. Just deciding between the Zeiss 25 and FA* 24. Then I'm all done!

Only one will get you the build and manual focus feeling you most desire.

Taking a little detour along the lines of a Voigtlander 90 f/3.5 APO Lanthar SLII , its colours and OOF rendering appeal to me. Also somehow picked up a K135 f/2.5 (impulse buy ) but the Zeiss Distagon 25 for reasonable money is going to need patience I think. I'm still of two minds with the A50 f/1.2 and CZ 2/50 battle, they are both different enough animals to keep in the bag and the Zeiss is giving the A a pummeling in keepers returned but but, there is always that suspicion that the A can throw a knockdown in any given round.

The Three Amigos and a Zeiss, eh? That collection would make a lot of people jealous. But, wait a minute...

The A50's gone!! Surely you just forgot to include it in the picture??
Used it to take the picture
