Pentax 10-17 Fish Eye to Canon 5d mkii adapter.

When I unloaded my Pentax gear to switch brands I never sold my Fisheye. What adapter would I need to make this work and are there any limitations with the functionality of the glass? My camera only takes EF lenses so I want to make sure its compatible.

I have a 7d too that I guess I could use.

I have an K to canon adapter from ebay. I think you will find that the DA 10-17 is not a full frame lens and will not work on your 5D. It should work on your 7D though. My adapter is like this one:

Do you know that Tokina is sell the exact same 10-17 FE lens for Canon and Nikon. they made a model without hood to be usable on FF

Btw, adapting your Pentax 10-17 on Canon will make you facer a problem : the lack of aperture ring which mean lens always stop down i think.

As Aurele suggested, you should definitely sell it and get the Tokina. Tokina branded lenses often cost less than the ones they make for Pentax, so it may not even cost you anything.

The aperture pin on K-mount lenses often hits the oversized mirror of the 5DII, so be careful.
