Pentax-A 50mm f1.7 Rear Cap? (help)

Hi everyone,

I just purchased a Pentax-A 50mm f/1.7.. It didn't come with a rear cap.

I was wondering what rear caps fit the Pentax-A 50mm f/1.7? Are all rear caps interchangeable?

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

What should I be searching for if I'd like to purchase a rear cap? Like is there a specific name for the model?

Thanks everyone!

Yes, any cap from a DA/FA/F/A lens would be appropriate. Old caps used with M and K lenses don't cover/protect the electrical contacts on the back of the lens, and while they're also compatible, I'd recommend avoiding them.

There are a lot of rear caps available on the internets, they just have to be made for K mount (also sometimes labelled PK or RK). There are differences between them, some screw on, some are pushed on, some cover the contacts others don't. You probably want to get a package of a couple of rear covers, its good to have a surplus at home in case you need them.
Edit: Oh, and btw, if you order from a very cheap Chinese ebay store, it might take up to a couple months for the item to get to you, depending on where you live.

I have bought these, and they are both very cheap, and better than some originals I have.
