Service company to clean Takumar Lens

HI

I have a Macro Takumar 50mm 2.8 (original 1:1 preset version) that needs a cleaning. I would appreciate knowing a good service center I can contact for checking out the lens and cleaning all the optics.

I think one our best people for this is Eric - many great success stories including myself. It would be a good idea to first email him with what you are looking to get done. He is very honest and his pricing is very fair with a quick turnaround.

Another voice for Eric. He serviced several lenses for me and it was always fast, very reasonably priced and perfectly serviced!!!

Can you guys tell me if he serviced FA Limited lenses too? My lenses is getting pretty banged up.

I am sure he do. He perfectly cleaned my FA20 so do not think that there would be any problems with FA limited. But you can send him an email and ask directly. He usually reply very quickly.

Eric recently did a cleaning and repaired the sluggish aperture on my DA 40 Limited. Email and ask. He will get back to you quickly.
