If you're on a serious budget, the Sigma 70-300mm APO Macro Super was available rebranded as a Quantaray Tech-10 lens sold through Ritz, so if you know what you're looking for (there was also a Tamron rebadged as a Quantaray) I've seen it go for as little as $50 on the used market because buyers/sellers don't understand what it really is.
