Is there any vignetting problem with filters on the Pentax 12-24mm? Does it need a slim skylight filter? What about a polarizer?

If you look at the front of the 12-24, you will see that Mr. Pentax has a much wider filter ring than the front element. They sort of built it with a filter step down ring in the lens.
