I too just ordered a DA* 60-250 for my K-30 - I have the DA 50-200 WR but wanted something a bit sharper on the long end, and based on the photos I've seen this will do the trick! As you can see, I've already updated my signature

Looking forward to trying it out, but have been looking at bags to carry it in now, what do you guys use when you take it out? I'm looking for a "holster" style bag ideally, that can house it and maybe a couple of limited primes. Ideally, something that doesn't look too much like a camera bag but is tough enough that I can hike around with it. I looked at the Lowepro 50/70 and Benro Z20, but wasn't sure if they were big enough...I also have a Lowepro Nova 160 I thought maybe I could fit it in sideways...

While the bag I am recommending will not hold any extra primes, and I guess does look like a camera bag, is the Lowepro Toploader Pro 75AW. It's a perfect fit for my K-5 and 60-250 and very well made. I use this every time I go out since the 60-250 is my main shooting lens. I will then take another small bag along for extra lenses. Also, you can fit separate lens cases to the Toploader.

I think so.
Beauty pageant headshot:

Always good for sports (sorry these aren't more action packed - I didn't feel like searching through some of the hockey pics):

And perfect for candid shots from across the room:

Thanks for the recommendation! I actually just ordered the 55AW, as I had read that another guy was able to fit his 60-250 plus a prime in there, and it's a little bit smaller than the 75AW...plus the Sea Blue version was almost 1/2 the cost of the 75AW on Amazon...after the 60-250 purchase I need to find savings somewhere
