lens corrections ?

Hello pentaxians I have a question about arriving at my lens measurement through my sensor. I have a new K5 and Love it B-Day present from my wonderful wife !! I found in my camera closet anf old "mint" 28mm F2.8 lens FOCAL MC auto are the markings. My question is what are the values of this 28mm lens on my K5. Thanking you in advance. Bob

There is no correction, focal length is focal length

I'm guessing upon power-up with the 28mm lens mounted, your K-5 is asking you to enter the focal length of the lens because that information is not programmed into the older lenses. Enter the closest length to 28mm and that will help the shake reduction perform better.
