Just placed order, my first lens purchase , woo-hoo!

This is a great price for this lens, I am really pleased with mine (got it used for roughly same price). Good luck!

Even though I have a 75-300 already ..... after seeing some of the images the 50-200mm produces (especially for the price) ... I was tempting in getting one cheap .. just for the sake of it and seeing what it can really do.

But for now ... I have put funds elsewhere for now (new flash ... Sigma 28-70 f/2.8 ... car parts ... mortgage repayments, etc.)

I have a (cheap, it was free) 75-300 already too, but it's a big much to lug around all the time, usually a 200mm will do the work, but my 300mm doesn't fit into any of my camera cases! (unless I put the camera into a gadget bag) This looks like a great deal!

I'm waiting for the 55-300 Pentax lens to come out. I wonder if Pentax is having a fire sale on the 50-200 lens to clear them out before the 55-300 lands in stores ?

i'd rather spend $150 on a cheap super zoom, picked up a Tamron 28-200 on this forum
but that's definitely a good find if you're looking for this kind of lens
