I purchased this lens too. I just have one question for owners of this lens. Is it just mine specimen, or do others have a minimum focus of 0mm too. At 70mm, my min focus distance is practicaly 0.

pentagor: I have noticed the same thing. I was getting closer and closer to the object and I have almost touched it with the front element and the camera still focused correctly. All I can say that it is pretty impressive.

Minimum focus distance is calculated from the sensor plane, so it can never be zero.

The "working distance" of that lens is pretty much 0, like you discovered. Not to be confused with MFD.

OK, so working distance. But here is the strange thing. The focusing ring shows the minimum distance of 0.2m or 0.65ft. So what is this distance? it is neither MFD nor working distance, because the length of extracted lens is about 0.14m and I don't think, that the distance from the rear element to the sensor is as much as 6cm.....
