Anyone here tried Purosol?

I am looking for a lens cleaning kit and I found this one made by Purosol.

Amazon.com: Purosol Lens Cleaner Large Clamshell Kit: PUROSOL: Camera & Photo

Has anyone here tried this? Is it any good? Alternatives?

For lens cleaning? Not sure you'd need that. With Pentax' SMC you can usually just use a rocket blower or a gentle cloth to get rid of dust and finger print oil.
Just remember all those second hand lenses for sale on websites that have notes like "cleaning marks on front element". Don't want to overdo it. A little dust doesn't even show up

For cleaning what, exactly?

As far as fingerprints go - Lenspens are pretty much perfect for that.

I was thinking of an all-lens cleaner: Pentax SMC, vintage "coated" from the 60's and 70's...

Short term, I need to clean off an oily fingerprint on the rear element of two lenses, one being a SMC-A 50mm f/1.4 and the other a 35mm f/2.8 Lentar.

If it's fingerprints, I really would recommend using lenspen. Safe, effective, and leaves no residue.

If you want an all-purpose cleaner for when you get the odd sticky substance on the lens element, then probably purosol is good. Although I use the little methanol solution that comes with sensor swab.

I most often use a Lenspen myself, but for fingerprints, Residual Oil Remover (ROR) works well:

Screen Cleaner | Lens Cleaner | LCD Screen Cleaner

You can get it at B&H etc.
