rechargeable batteries for Pentax K7

I'm planning to get a used K7 camera, but I don't know much about the rechargeable batteries they use.
Do they work well and is there a particular charger to be used for them. I believe the battery is called DL1-90.
Probably one of them and maybe a charger will come with a used K7. Anyway, feedback would be helpful.
Thanks, Freddy

The battery is a D-Li90, and yes, the charger should be included with the camera.

Do a search on Amazon or Adorama for the DLi190 and you should find lots of options for under $15.

Original battery is crazy expensive..
For 26$ (or even a dollar less) you can get a wasabi charger + two batteries. A lot of members use them and I haven't heard a negative review about them.

+1 on the Wasabi.

I bought the set, one battery worked as well as the OEM, the other only held a charge for a short time. Sent them an email asking if I needed to condition it or something. They replied they were sending me a replacement which arrived in a couple of days and works perfectly. Great customer service!

I would go for this:

You get 2 batteries for for $13.61. They are slightly worse than OEM (which is expected with any brand - OEM i think is around 800-900 shots for me and those are probably at 500-600 shots) however their performance is more than acceptable for $5 each compared to $50 OEM! I had a long Euro trip last summer and in between 2 OEM and 4 of these I was able to snap thousands of pictures over a month and a half.

Somewhere here on the forum, I don't think that one got a great review.

This one seemed to be better thought of ATC 7.4V (compatible with 7.2V) 2000mAh 2 Pack High Capacity Pentax D-LI109 DLI109 DL1109 D-L1109 Replacement Lithium-Ion Battery for Pentax DSLR K-r Digital Camera: Camera & Photo
