For those of you who may be interested, SLR Gear has recently posted no. 6 in a series of Pentax Lens tests.

Included are:

I am immediately pleased when I saw overall rating of 10 given to Fa 43 ltd instead of criticising the lens as other reviews might have done.

They are rather informative and systematic. I like the site

I was just taking a look at their Pentax Reviews, and Im not a measurebator or anything but on their "blur charts" (checking sharpness) the DA 18-55mm out performs the DA 40mm at similar fl (35v40) and same aperture (f8)... The DA18-55's centre is sharper (slighty but still) and 2 its corners perfroms better than the Limited...
Now ofcourse the Limited has virtually no CA, Vignetting or distortion but it still made me think...
