To the grave?

What lens are you taking with you when you see the "bright light?"
Only one and my DA * 50 -135 2.8
You?

I know it's hard but try to limit it to one

Thanks

Randy

Hmm, that might be hard. I've introduced both my daughter in law and my other son's girlfriend to Pentax. I suspect I may not be permitted to take anything with me........... Now who gets which lens, that might be an interesting conversation.

I'm not sure how much use it will be at that point. lol However, if photography is allowed in heaven or hell, I'm sure the FA 31 would be my choice.

You're probably right about most, but not me. My Sigma 30mm and I will never part.

Sorry to disappoint, but the bright light is simply the last flare of the optic nerve. After that is darkness, forever.

In that situation there are more important things to think of than your lenses. As I know from experience.

I guess a good flash will be more important than which lens then. Don't forget to charge your batteries.
New Yorkers have always said, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, they just forgot it is New Jersey.

You keep thinking that....but many of us know better

I'm going with Slips answer. My DA*50-135. It's just so much fun to use.

I'm not taking my cameras. They're getting given to my teacher and via him to other photography students as per my request in my will. If there is an afterlife I am sure I can have any photography set up I could ever want. The only material things I have requested to be put in with me when I am burnt to ashes are the ashes of my now deceased companion animals which are now sitting on my dresser in little boxes with their photos that I hand painted for them. We're going to be spread in the Pacific together when the time comes, preferably at Big Sur. No funeral. No fuss, just that.

A good idea would be to put in the will the following clause :
"...and all my lenses and cameras shall be sold to pentaxforums members at the average price from the lens database -15% plus postal fees. The money shall be used to buy dog food/college fund/red cross..." etc.
Adam must give easy access for lens selling attorneys or widows.

Unfortunately I know my light aint gonna be white, but I'm taking my mistress with me (SMC Pentax-A 15mm F3.5) as "Auld Nick" may at least approve of her description.
