Info wanted on an old Vivitar K mount zoom

I have an old manual Vivitar 70-200 mm F3.8 Macro zoom that I bought some time in the late 1970's or very early 1980's to go with my ME. It takes a 58mm filter size and on the front of the lens it says "MC Macro Focusing Zoom". The serial number is 420010xx which indicates (I think!) that it is one of the line manufactured for Vivitar by Bauer, and that is all I have been able to find out about it - It doesn't appear on any list of lenses that I have found. Can anyone one tell me anything interesting about it; has anyone else got one or even seen one?
