I suppose so, at least Wikipedia states that a line of lenses was launced along the camera.

Yes, they only work with the two 110 bodies. Thinking about making a "body cap" adapter to allow macro use on K20D. Only aperture is 2.8 since 110 bodies set it with shutter blades. Still would be fun to do.

You can't really appreciate it from the e-bay pictures, but these lenses and the camera are tiny.

Oooh! Check out this project: someone is doing the swap-human-brains-into-a-duck project with a Fujifilm F30: Stick a digicam sensor in a Pentax 110 SLR? - FM Forums

I wonder what folks over at Olympus would think if Pentax revived the 110 and built a 4/3rds camera? The 110 and and 4/3rds formats are almost identical (Kodak originated the 4/3, 110 and APS).

Another question would be if the lenses could be adapted to work on 4/3 DSLR bodies that are out there now? If so would the lenses then have the same FOV such as the 24mm would be a 24mm on 4/3 DSLR instead of the 2x crop factor they are working with now. Those lenses on the new Olympus E-420 would make one small camera.

Scratch that they would have the 2x crop factor. They would still make for a small kit though.

110 lenses would only work on 4/3 body for macro. The distance from rear of lens to 110 body is much shorter than the 4/3 system. 110 lens can't focus anywhere near infinity on 4/3 body.
thanks
