Chinese Mitakon is back with it's 85mm f2 -Limited Silver Style!

I remember seeing Mitakon 85mm f2 a few years back, today I bump into it again, and boy, it's now got a new, fresh 'Limited' makeover, even a silver tone! Can't really tell whether it's an all new design or just cosmetics, but the previous version seems to have quite good review. What might be a problem is that it seems the new one have no 'A' version, as a matter of fact they're all 'declicked' manual aperture or something, optimized for shooting movies I presume.. Insteresting though, there's also an add-on lens attachment, available separately, that claims to be able to give 1:1 macro capability.
So, who's going to jump? It's with free shipping you know

Well, it's off course a full manual lens, and it's now priced a bit more expensive compared to the old one, though

EDIT:
More from 'the new line', thanks Brelip for the leading links

A Leica-ish 135/2.8 ?

Another 'Limited' 35/1.9

Interesting though, the 35/1.9 seems to have possibility of 'A' mount

This one reportedly has 10 blades, 11layers of coatings, and had 55mm threads. The one listed previously had 6 blades and 52mm threads.

I bought it. And I was the only one that bought it apparently. Have not received it yet. Will report back.

The version 2 is a completely different design than ver 1. I believe ver 1 has a very early design.

They also have 135/2.8 which I also bought. The 135 looks like a Leica and weighs 700g!

Would be nice to know if this lens has the "A" setting. Judging from the photos it doesn't, but they may have shown a version in another mount.

When I first bump into this, on one of the listing I saw that it is sold one time, so it's you
Yes, they have a 135, but it's only f2.8, and there are tons of legacy 135/2.8 out there with PK mount. Why didn't they make a 135mm with like f2, now that's something!

Considering at the 'de-clicked' aperture design, it could really help if there's an 'A' setting. But, if I remember correctly, the old version with 'A' have problems and was removed from market? Unlike the old version, the new version did not say anything about available in PKA mount.

It has no A, no electronics, and I don't believe it has de-clicked aperture.

I don't know about the old ver 1, but I've read in some Malaysia and Chinese forums that ver 1 is very soft and built like c***.

Perhaps that is why it was withdrawn, time passed, and they released a completely redesigned model?

What basis do you have for asserting that you "I don't believe it has de-clicked aperture."?

The description by the seller (maker) is:
"This brand new lens is carefully manufactured, adopting military optical coating technology. Metal lens barrel, mute aperture is more suitable for shooting. It keeps the vertical incident ray of light, the whole picture of bright, homogeneous and high contrast. The maximum f-number is F2.0, 6 sets of 6 pieces lens, 11 layers coated and 10 pieces of aperture blades."

I'd call this very tempting, especially the 135mm. Let us know how it works out

The reason I say it's not de-clicked is that I see no mentions that it is.

here's probably some of the best info you can find on these lenses

Manual Lenses Malaysia : Mitakon 85mm f2.0 ( Hybrid Technology )
Essential Studio Equipment : Mitakon 135mm f2.8 ( Hybrid Technology )
