This thread et al has made me question that I sold the used one I bought on eBay for well under $100 USD to a co-worker for the same price w/o ever taking one shot through it, since I'd gotten my Sigma 300mm to take on my trip instead (the Tamron was bought as a fall-back in-case I couldn't score the fast long lens before leaving). :ugh:

They are pretty cheap new. You get another one.
