I've been keeping my eye out for one of these for a while. My trips coming up in a couple weeks, so times running short. I see a couple on ebay selling for fairly high prices, so I ask you, what's a fair price for one of these? Anyone know a better place to look?

I sold one in good shape on eBay for $222.50 just this last week. The "buy-it-now" ones that you see at $400 and up have been on there forever. No one is obviously willing to pay that much. I bought my M 20/4 for $285 two and a half years ago. The lens was in superb condition (almost like new) and came with a case. I'm not sure what they're going for nowadays. Two and a half years ago, you could get a new DA 21 for less than $500, and used for around $400. Now with DA 21 costing considerably more, that could be causing an upward pressure on M 20 prices (although there's always the occasional bargain, as with the previous poster's sale). Still, $400 is probably too much for this lens. I'd look for something between $250 and $300.

I would pick whatever price you're willing to pay for an M/20 and then use that as your bid price on ebay, knowing that if you choose a low price (say, under $250) you may lose most of your bids. But you only need to win once to get it!
