Does anybody know how this lens compares to the Sigma 24-70mm and the Tamron 28-75mm.
For my needs the focal range of 24-60 (or even better 24-70) would be perfect but I have read that the 24-70 suffers a lot lens flares...

Jump on it! Its a decent lens, probably shadowed by the 24-70mm version and the Tamron but its quite a nice lens and thats a very good price! (amazing price by canadian standards)

Thanks

Only reason I didn't get this lens, and I looked hard at it, was that it was, at the time I made the decision, mode than the tamron 28-75, which I bought and love.

Add into the cost, that I already had a good collection of 67mm filters for my FA-J 18-35 (polorizer, and 2 different graduated ND filters) and the issue of filter compatibility was the deciding factor.

I don't use a polorizer on mu 10-20 because the sky is not consistent over the field of view for 10mm.
