FA 35 2.0 problem

Just got my fa 35 2.0 from ebay.

And found that it is not focusing to infinity.

When i try to focus far object (about 50 meters) camera shows focusing error in viewfinder and i am getting blurry image. In manual focusing mode I am getting the same result.

In clode ange the lens is great.

Does anybody had such a problem? Is there any solutions?

Example photo.

Thanks.

If the lens isn't sharp when focused manually, something is wrong with it. Return it and perhaps get a brand new one here

I think the best possible advice was said already - and what do you want to dismantle it for ?? If there is something wrong with it - simple run your tests, triple check and then have it returned for a full refund. If you disassemble it - there is a high risk you will leave some marks on it or can possible even worsen the condition - and then you will very unlikely be able to return it - as seller would justly state that the lens was disassembled and possible damaged by you.

My advice - leave it - and contact the seller.
cheers

Thanks. I must agree that return is the best way. But i thought if it is not difficult to fix this issue then i could do it and not to worry about return.

A simple information : Be aware that some AF lens can go beyond infinity when manualy focused at the maximum rotation possible of the focusing ring (like the DA 35/2.4).
