I believe there are two versions of the 90/2.5, and 3 versions of the 90/2.8
Both the 2.5 versions are 1:2 macros and are adaptall mounts.
The 3 2.8 versions are 1:1, the first is adaptall and mf, the later 2 are AF and aren't adaptall.
All are superb.

Hmmm

How easy to pull apart ?

There is one local ( Well - Aust ) , but apparently has mold or something ... So how difficult are they to pull apart to clean all the elements ( internal lenses )

I've got the SP52BB version, and I've had the rear block out and apart to clean slight fungus, it isn't a complicated job to do that, but I had no need to go right in to the rest of the lens. If I remember correctly there is no need to dismantle any of the mount mechanism, the rear block can come through the mount once a shield / baffle is removed.
It's a wonderful lens, one that is permanently in my bag - or on a camera.

Adaptall-2 has some good information.

I knew I had a link to the repair of this lens.

There's some other interesting stuff on the site as well, such as KX scroll wheel repair.

I have had the 52BB in Adaptall-2 but came across the 52E with a Pentax AF mount, pictured on the left:

It's rare enough that no one else noticed the auction. I think the optical formula is the same for all versions. My 52E performs the same as my 52BB did. The 52BB has a 55mm filter, the 52E has 52mm filter size which I like better. The AF means a much shorter focus throw but that doesn't really hurt manual focus for me. It has a focus limiter. It's so useful, I rearranged my kit around it.
