Pentax m 200mm f/4

Hi,
There was a recent thread that had a lot of discussion regarding the m 200mm f/4. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I wanted to re-read some of the comments.

Thanks,

Steve

Search the forum for "200". Check out the lens database as well.

Thanks for the suggestion. I searched for 200 and 200mm and was unable to find it. Too many postings...

Have you tried the lens database on this site?

Stevebrot, was it this thread?
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-slr-lens-discussion/22575-march-lb...s-month-4.html

There was some talk about the Pentax 200mm f4.0 there, and some very good examples of what this lens can do. Begin at post #54.

Hope this is it.

That was the thread! Thanks a load. I was wanting to look at jsherman999's pictures again as well as the comments. I am thinking about buying the $69 copy at Adorama!

Steve, bang-for-buck wise, you just scored huge. One thing that's so great about that lens is how relatively small/light it is - you can hold it steady very easily.

Tack-sharp, easy to focus, incredible bokah - I'm a member of the M 200mm f4 fan club.

AHA!

So my guess was on target.

Where should I send my bill for the search fee? (joke )

Good for you, Steve.

I'm glad you got the lens.

Good luck with it.

I will post some shots once I take delivery. Thank you all for helping me find the post.

What I found attractive was the relative compactness of the lens as well as the gallery photos. It will be nice to have a little more reach beyond what my old Tamron 70-150mm Adaptall-2 provides (also a very compact package).
