Lost front element screws on Tamron 70-200/2.8

I noticed my lens hood was loose, but on further inspection, I am missing one of the three small black screws that hold the front element ring. Before I call Tamron on Monday, is there any other suggestion on where I could find a replacement?

Cannibalize it from another lens or camera. You can try Micro Fasteners :: Metric :: Machine Screws they sell screws in lots of 20 but they'll charge you $7-8 for shipping.

I would just call Tamron, they might send it out for nothing. Stranger things have happened..........

You could probably find a substitute but if the thread is not quite right you might end up stripping the socket.

Thanks. I will try Tamron first.

Any suggestions on what to use to keep these tiny screws tight? They have come loose before but I always noticed before they fell out.

Locktite?

I've also used a drop of super-glue but do be careful with that

A touch of clear nail polish or light or medium release thread lock.

Just an update - I made a phone call to Tamron customer service, and within two days I had replacement screws. Fantastic service. Thanks Tamron!
