Pentax FA 31 mm Limited on a Pentax MX?

I am assuming that the FA 31 mm Limited lens would be usable on the 1970s era MX body?

Any caveats or issues?

Thanks.

Sincerely,

Hany.

Nope, it will work just fine. No limitations or restrictions.

The FA31 is the reason I still shoot film.

I can't comment on the FA31 as I haven't seen one, but if the aperture markings aren't engraved (i.e. painted on as with my FA35/2), in some lighting conditions you can't easily read the aperture in the Judas window which flares somewhat (engraved markings can usually still be made out). It's a very minor point though.

The FA Limited’s work just fine on old manual focus film bodies, the only thing is the focus ring is a bit small compared to a true MF lens.
