Showoff!
Mine are all green striped, and I don't have the 35. I like my macro's longer (100 DFA WR)

It seems a new carry-case for the DA Limiteds is in order, perhaps a double-row?

I've always been at a bit of a loss to understand the rationale for the DA 40/2.8 and the DA 70/2.4, when there are perfectly good FA lenses in the 43 and the 77 still available at not much more cost. I guess every little helps, though, as the DA lenses are lighter and cheaper, even though the FAs aren't that much heavier (in absolute terms – I realise the FA43 is almost twice the weight of the DA 40) and are significantly faster. I also guess it's a statement of commitment to the APS-C format.

Didn't Pentax make a hard carrying case that would hold 2 or 3 limited with separators?

Quite right (I have one). That's why I referred to a double-row, to fit the others.

All the limited and that case would be true lens porn...

I wait for the comparison... I am really lusting for a 21 and 70 after trying the DA40 (even being the XS version!)

I plan on doing a single review for all the HD limiteds, assuming that I get the 70mm in time. Will be sure to see how the new coatings and aperture blades affect aberrations & bokeh

I bought the DA 70 to get an AF medium tele, complementing my MF lenses.
Although I did contemplate the FA 77 at the time,
I chose the DA 70 because of its compactness, fast AF, and Quick-Shift.

The FA 77 seems like a good choice if you want a single lens to do double duty,
providing both tolerably fast AF and the kind of rendering I'm getting from my MF lenses,
but in my case at least, I didn't need to make that compromise,
and have been very pleased with the way the DA 70 performs.

As for the DA 40, I picked up the XS version for USD 120
as part of a K-01 closeout kit.
As intriguing as the FA 43 is,
I doubt that it is available for that kind of money.
