What classic 70 200 manual focus should I look for for an LX

I have all three of these and highly recommend each of them -- especially the 30A if the additional weight isn't an issue for you. It's essentially the highly regarded Tamron AF 70-200/2.8 -- with no AF to complain about.

Vivitar 75-205mm f3.8 as good as series1...... Really sharp even at 200mm and can be found at good price

I agree that the Vivitar series 1 comes to mind. I will point out that version 1 made by Kiron is also great, some CA but constant f3,5 and really good macro performances. I have missed mine until I got the 60-250.
