Not Yet, i Pre-orderedit, but it would make a very good small travel lens.
How is it you can recommend it when you don't have it?

Trolling aside, I reckon the HD DA20-40 would be worth considering, especially paired with the DA55-300 if you insist on a two lens kit.
I took the K-01 to Argentina last year (despite having a K-5 at the time), with DA10-17, Sigma 17-50/2.8, DA40, FA50/1.4, FA77 and DA55-300. I didn't regret my decision for a moment.
If you want just two primes, I would go for DA21 and DA70, or FA31 and FA77 if your budget extends to it. Frankly though, two primes ain't enough.

I think it depends upon where you're going, what you expect to do, and how important photography is to your trip. If I were going to Glacier National Park and the Grand Tetons like qblade, I'd definitely want my K-01. That's some great scenery and the extra size of the K-01 vs the Q is no big deal compared to the increased IQ you'll get. However, if you anticipate traveling to an urban setting and expect to concentrate more on shopping and sightseeing...and maybe photography is more of an after thought, but you'd like to have a decent camera with you 'just in case'...the Q might be a better choice. You'll rarely find yourself asking, "Do I feel like carrying a camera today or not?" when you have a Q because it's so easy to toss it in a pocket or purse.

That's a pretty good question.

I can get the Q7 with 01, 02, 03 and 06 plus charger, two spare batteries and a small hotshoe flash into a pretty tiny bag. I can get the K-01 with DA15, DA21, FA43 and FA77 into the same bag, but that is obviously with a significant loss of wide and telephoto reach, and no room for charges and flashes.

Frankly, the Q7 might be the better option.

Have you noticed a recurring theme? Several of us have both cameras. That's your only real solution here.

raider - I still would prefer the K-01 for most travel because the IQ is better and it is still smaller and easier to pack than a DSLR. That being said, most times I bring both cameras, since the Q is so small.

I took my Fuji X-10 and the K-30 with a 21mm and FA 35-70mm on a recent vacation. I missed not having a longer lens, but got good shots none the less. I was in very mixed settings on the Maine coast. After that I decided to get the 18-135mm lens, versatile but not compact. I could have taken the the K-01 instead, and would have been fine with that. The Fuji was versatile and so easy to take anywhere, but I knew I wanted better gear on certain days. I had a belt case then.

For my vacation, I took my K-01, awide street shooter in the bag, DA40 and FA77

Then I spent $300 bucks on a Sony SX50 50x zoomer. It can handle all the stuff the Q would in good light.

Plus it covers this range!!! Not as cute as the Q but it is a great little take anywhere vacation cam.

Whenever I really had to travel light, I found the combo of DA 21 and DA 70 more than adequate for 90% of the shots I needed. I would also throw in a compat 135 such as M135/3.5. If you are a zoom guy, the F35-70 + DA15/21 might suit you better.
