I'd like a range of D-FA primes and zooms in prelude to the upcoming full frame camera.

(Sorry, I couldn't resist)

A fast 85 and 105, both in a FA Limited package. That would make a sweet lineup of FA' s.

Fa31 wr

Please! Pretty Please! Pretty, pretty please!

Forget the full frame. Just make a weather resistant FA 31mm 1.8. I know you can do it. Don't change it, don't try to improve it. It is almost perfect just the way it is. Just do one little thing. Make it a WR lens.

Please! Pretty Please! Pretty, pretty please!

Need a WR-HD ultra wide!

Note to Ricoh- Pentax:

We serious landscape photographers want a 10-22 or 10-24, 0r 8-18mm, 9-18mm ultra-wide that is weather-resistant and HD! In is not uncommon or unknown that many of our shots are taken low to the ground and low to the water! (close to oceans, rivers, and lakes!)

Right now I am forced to use a cheap Sigma 10-20mm, that I am willing to sacrifice to the elements.

This is a real gap in most manufacturers lens-lines. Only Nikon 12-24 f4 DX has any kind of sealing that I know of, besides both Canon and Nikon FX lenses!

The 14mm WR -HD and older, non-sealed 12-24mm (both expensive and limited!) do not fill the bill!

Two days ago I have the occasion to play a little with a Canon D1X with a 400mm f2.8. WOW.

I don't know if I will ever be able to buy such a lens, but I surely like to see Pentax making a big fast lens like this.

I just wish Sigma make all their ART lenses available in K-mount.

problem solved.

fast glasses are missing in lens line up if PENTAX really want to do APSC only, make fast glass that comparable to FF in equivalent aperture.

Fujifilm is doing this to their APSC lenses, Pentax really needs to up their game.

I wouldn't pay quite that much, but +1 on the extreme macro lens suggestion, with either 1:2 - 4:1 or 1:1 - 5:1 macro range.

I would have said a Pentax version of the Canon 85mm f1.2 a week ago, but now, I want a Pentax version of Fuji's 56mm f1.2.

Cheaper and nearly as impressive optically.

An 8-16 WR would be quite welcome.

A 24mm F/2 would be quite welcome.

A 'real-by-definition' telephoto over 300mm would be quite welcome.

WR limiteds would be incredibly welcome.

I agree... if PENTAX really want to do just APSC, they need to make DOF equivalent lenses to FF like Fuji doing. f1.2 in APSC equal to f1.8 in FF in DOF.
Fuji has really up their game and building their APSC lens line up with impressive fast glass.

The limiteds in WR. I feel that's sorely needed.

Then a prime in the 135mm range. Limited and WR also, of course. Pentax used to make a 120 2.8 and a 150 f3.5 and both were extremely compact and optically excellent. Of course a 135mm f2,5 would work, but this is Pentax after all, we should not expect (not desire) regular focal lengths.
