I see no rough seas there (for Southern Crete coast I mean )

I did not either. The captain did, however, and decided not to use the harbor...

A few pics from Valencia

Hi,

3 shots from inside the old cathedral in Valencia (at ISO 800, handheld + flash) + 2 shots outside near the central square (at ISO 100). Weather outside was cloudy, but I believe I still managed to get some decent shots

This lens is a masterpiece! I love it almost as much as my 77 limited.
It has incredible bokeh and amazing sharpness.

More from Soccer games. I have to say, I was very pleased with my K20D and DA* 50-135mm's performance in the rain. It was a downpour, and this baby took it like a champ (I still wish it was a bit longer). I was especially amused by my friend with his L lens and Canon camera that had a bag around his camera and an umbrella that was afraid to let his get in the rain. He even left at one point and bought one of those rain sleeves.

I got soaked, but I did get some cool shots out of it.

Midnight Hockey

I tried my first hockey game using the DA* 50-135 (not my first hockey game by a bunch of years, just the first with this lens). These shots are not cropped. Plus one stop exposure compensation was used either in camera (second period) or in Lightroom 2.0 (first period).

AF.C, single point autofocus in the first period, auto point selection in the second period. With my shooting style the auto select worked better. I tend to lead the play as I was taught in order to keep the puck/ball/whatever in the image, and thus focused on the background a lot using center only. ISO 800, High Speed Program.

Some great work there

This is a great lens.. it and the DA 16-50 (if you get a good one) cover most of my needs and both give me some wonderful results.

Another example of why the 50-135 doesn't suck.
Taken with the lens on a Kd10.
