Pentax equivalent???
Helios 44K-4 is 58/2, closest Pentax lenses are SMC 55/1.8 or 55/2, both of them are cheap and absolutely stunning. Here is the comparison I posted a long back.

Helios 77k-4 is 50/1.8, closest Pentax lens are 50/1.7 (A/M/F/FA) and the Pentax one is absolutely wonderful and cheap, no comparison.

I got a Helios 44K-4 off flea bay from a guy in Russia for a good price, it even had the Cyrillic markings on it and based on my research even though it's not marked MC, almost all of those lenses produced most likely had some sort of MC. It's bokeh also cannot be mistaken for something else

All post-WWII Russian and Soviet lenses are at least single-coated. Only those that are prominently labeled MC are multi-coated.

I stand corrected...either way, I just put a MC filter on it and voila!
