Is Black Friday the ONLY day Pentax lenses are heavily discounted by B&H and Adorama or are there other days during the year this happens?

I remember earlier this year (early summer maybe), there was pretty good discounts on a lot of Pentax lenses if you get a body too

Also, at the moment, there are discounts on various Pentax products on their official page Digital Cameras by RICOH IMAGING .

I got great deal on HD 70mm Ltd on Monday following Black Friday. From B&H. I was surprised and bought it. Less than DA 70 mm Ltd on Black Friday.

Next year, I will buy no lenses or camera bodies until Black Friday.

Is this what Rocoh/Pentax wants? seems stupid, IMHO.

+1 on this. I saved enough money on my FA 43mm Limited earlier this year (March?) to make it worth the call to Adorama.

Sounds like the consensus is wait another year for Black Friday or grovel and beg for a few dollars off. Looks like I'll be waiting for the next Black Friday

I do not need to grovel now that my LBA has been satisfied,for a time. But new frontiers of WR lenses await. How can I not lust for WR versions of my three primes? Pentax/Ricoh will probably update,the Limiteds next year. Another pocket full of money down the tubes! Sigh.

Up in cold Canada we get the "black Friday" prices from the brick and mortar stores usually 3-4 times a year. The prices out of the US for me are about $10 cheaper and have one less year of warranty. I usually just hold off for Black Friday, Boxing day, or Pentax days in the spring/summer.
