Hello to all,

2. FA 77mm F1.8
3. DA 15mm F 4.0
4. DFA 100mm F2.8 Macro WR
Thank you very much,
steve

The only one I would rule out would be the 15mm. The others are all capable, though the DFA 100 would likely be too long unless you can stay well back.

So either the 50mm or the 77mm. How tall is the tree? How much light do you have? Do you have flash? For a portrait without the tree I would start with the 77mm but if you want the tree as well, and you don't say how big a tree then I think I would start with the 50mm

But really take the 50 and the 77 and see which frames the best given the distance you have to work with.

Of your lenses, the 50/1.7 and 77/1.8 would be suitable, if they seem too long try getting the 35/2.4, that lens is amazing for what it costs.

Put one on the camera and the other one in the pocket and switch halfway to get a different look in the pics.

That's the good thing with small lenses! My DA*300/4 is harder to it into my pockets. Maybe if I screw it apart in pieces?

The 50mm will probably be plenty long, but it depends on how far away you'll be standing.

This is a little off-topic but since someone brought it up I would like to know if the 35mm macro is a separate different lens from any 35mm that gets mentioned, and which one do they mean if they're different?

The 35mm 2.8 is not the same lens as the 35mm 2.4.

But I've just had an idea. A couple months ago I bought a Random Brand 35mm 2.8 (m42) which focused down to 0,5m. Upon taking it apart, I found out that the lens could actually be focused closer, to about 0,3m, but the rest of the construction prevented it.

I wonder what the 35/2.4 can actually do.
