Sigma 18-250 over exposure

Brand new Sigma 18-250 with K5 IIs body. Pictures are over exposed. Need to step exposure compensation down to -1 to avoid over exposure. Why is that? All my other Pentax lenses don't need to set exposure compensation.

I have got Sigma 18-200 mk II. It's great on whide end, and over exposes at 200mm, both with old K-5 and new K-5IIs. Looks like Sigma can not hack pentax protocol between camera and lens. Just remember to tune exp.compensation. Nice lens overall.
