Shamelessly bumped in hopes somebody knows something about this lens. You folks have never let me down before and am hoping you can shed some light on this lens.
Thanks,
Ken

Hi Ken

I have got a Tokina 17/3.5, not too sure if they are same lens and just rebadged. If they are, then it is a nice sharp lens but you will need to watch out for flare. I think Photozone has done a test on it.

I have got some photos here:
Index of /~kennyjao/photography/photos/tokina17

cheers

I have this lens and it is ridiculously sharp. It's a fun little lens when you want to go out with an ME super. What do you want to know about it?

Welcome to the forum!

I agree that the Tokina 17/3.5 is a fun lens for film (although I have found recent ultrawide zooms to be at least as good and irresistibly convenient).

This thread's been asleep for several months; however, I'm sure DouglasOfSweden would welcome your opinions on this recent thread:
