Be careful what you sell

I recently decided to sell some unused lenses to fund a UWA purchase (Sig 10-20 f3.5). The Takumar 135mm f2.5 was one of those lenses I acquired, but never really used much. It's much easier to pick up an AF zoom and shoot away. Anyway, I had to take some shots with the Tak to use in the ebay listing, and I must say, when I saw the results, I was wondering why I was selling this lens.

And a crop.

I reckon in the future, I'll be looking for another 135mm.......

Regards

If you can find one that you can afford the Pentax K 135mm F/2.5 is even superior to the Tak (hard to believe but true) I was lucky enough to find one about 7 years ago for under $100, they are going for at least half again as much now. And if Pentax ever comes out with a FF they'll probably go even higher. Check out my 'single in September' album here for some good examples of what this lens can do.

I have a Tak 135mm F/2.5 that I really like, but never use anymore since I picked up an A-135 F/2.8

Are you going to get enough for this lens to make a big enough dent in the price of the 10-20? Keep it if you like it. There are lots of manual Pentax 135's around and they mostly sell for very affordable prices.
