Nice. I paid $40 for an earlier Vivitar branded Kiron. But that came with a Kobori 28-85 and not 2 Pentax 50s.

Nice haul!

Looking forward to seeing some images from the Kiron. What mount - K or M42?

I bought a Kiron 28 f2 for $20 along with an ME Super lens cap. I was super sharp but sold it for $95 anyway to raise funds for a new camera. I love the K-30 but I still kick myself for selling that lens, hands down the sharpest MF lens I've owned. I've read some of these have stick blades, mine did not, I hope yours doesn't either. Great deal, Enjoy it!

I was just about to post about that being a fluid head on the tripod. Nice find!

I used to know of a junk shop called "The Trash to Treasure Shop," maybe it was that kind of place. One I would have liked to have explored, but happened by it on a long trip on a day it was closed, was called "Bob's Good Junk."

At the very beginning of my lens trading days I bought a Kiron 'K' 28/2 that had sticky blades. I foolishly traded it with an M50/1.7 for a K55/1.8. That guy still has a twinkle in his eye when we cross paths.
