The database and reviews on this site give no indication that it is! (Lenses - Pentax -K mount converters

In a word....NO. It was made/designed prior to the weathersealed lenses. It works well though. Which lens were you thinking of using with it?

No it is not.
It's part of the "F" generation, and back then nothing was weather sealed.

The weather sealing on it is limited to sunny weather.

Given that there are no external controls focusing rings, a Perdue rings etc, and only the two lens mounts and the release button it is somewhat weather sealed by lack of openings, but that is not to say it is truly weather sealed, like the WR equipment today.

Uh, if there aren't any gaskets, it can let water inside your camera. It's not "somewhat" weather sealed in any way that could possibly matter.

Only that the majority of seals on for example a WR body are for case splits, door openings and control buttons, by having none of these there is less sealing to worry about

That's like saying a house with no roof is weatherproof if it only has one door and two windows.

If you used it on your camera, both the camera and whatever lens is attached are no longer protected. The lens gasket will help a bit with the lens, but the camera may as well not be protected at all.

It's not a WR device. Hopefully the new one on the roadmap will be, but the one the OP asked about is not.
